THE RICH PEOPLE MUST CONFER IN HOVELS IN THE POOR COUNTRIES. IN STEAD OF LIVING LIKE THE NATIVE POPULATION

WITHOUT FOOD, NO DRINKING WATER,
CANDLES FOR LIGHTING, WORKING
FOR 30 DOLLARS A MONTH,
TEN HOURS A DAY

(THERE WOULD BE AT LEAST
ONE BENEFIT - THE CONFERENCES
WOULD BE SHORTER BUT EFFICIENT,
AND THEY WOULD NOT LOOK LIKE
DOCTORS WHO HEAL THEIR PATIENTS
VIRTUALLY

By Daniel Amarilio

If the representatives of the rich countries, big international institutions, rich foundations and many other charity people with noble souls want really to help poor nations, they should not confer in the luxury hotels in Davos, Cancun, Rio de Janeiro, Doha, Tokyo and New York.

1. This is a real contradict of the dead march to the milliards of poor people, watching how the delegates pay thousands of dollars for one night per room in the hotels they have chosen to talk over their unhappy destinies. Milliards of people see and listen to the delegates, smoking their expensive Mexican cigars and together with this discussing the doom of South Asian, Africans, Latin Americans and many other nations. People watch the delegates signing decisions for financial aid.

2. Any kinds of plans have been prepared:
- Plan to increase the monthly income of 1 milliard poor people (some of the families are with 8 members)-from 35 to 70 dollars
- Plan to decrease the uninterruptedly increasing number of people ill with AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis
- Plan to cope with the droughts, which killed millions
- Plan to find drinking water, which is not enough for one milliard people
- Plan to save one milliard children, slowly but surely dying of hunger
- Plan to…Plan to…Plan to…

3. On paper through the splendid and super luxury conferences in Davos, Doha and Cancun the spirit was very optimistic. Why not? The atmosphere was so nice that it made the participants in the conference very generous. They felt like they were giants saving the dwarfs from genocide…

Gentlemen, the expensive cigars and the most expensive hotels in the world will only make the poverty grow, grow, grow…

4. Isn’t it a good idea the participants in these conferences to carry them out among the population, among the millions hungry people? Why don’t they confer in a miserable hovel on candle lighting? To sit on the ground without covering. To have no drinking water. To work whole month, ten hours a day to get one dollar every day. This is the only way they to feel themselves, even for a short time, the real suffering of one milliard and a half poor people, who don’t suffer 24 or 48 hours, but from the first cry they gave out in this world. Mother’s breasts are dry as papyrus and in their dull eyes there is still protest against the humanity.

5. There would be at least one benefit-the conferences in these hovels would be much shorter, but efficient.
